After the Installation

Preliminary installation verification

After completing the previous installation steps, you can run a preliminary installation verification procedure (IVP) by issuing the following command:

dwagent.sh -ivp

If the installation is successful, a warning will inform you that no emitter and no communicator are currently active – which is expected at this stage, because no components have been configured yet.

Next steps

After completing the installation, you will have to determine which DWA Emitters and DWA Proxies will be used and proceed to configure each of them.
As you go through the configuration or if you alter an existing configuration, you can re-run IVP at any time to check that your configuration is still correct.
