Trusting Certificates

To send emails correctly, Certificates must be imported in the Trust Store section in Data One.

There can be any number of certificates in a certificate chain. It is necessary to import the entire chain of certificates into the trust store, starting with the certificate of interest, ending with a CA certificate, and including any intermediate CA certificates.
All of these certificates must be provided by IT and imported one at a time.

The following is an example for smtp.office365.com.
Note: The certificate names are current and may change in the future.

To trust the certificate, go to Setup → Trust Store → Certificates tab and follow these steps:

  1. Click the IMPORT button.
  2. In the Import from File window, click the CHOOSE FILE button.
  3. Browse your local disk to identify the GlobalSign root certificate - this must be provided by your IT department.
  4. In the TYPE drop-down list select CA.
  5. In the FORMAT drop-down list select Automatic encoding detection.
  6. Click the CONFIRM button.

Repeat the same steps by browsing your local disk and importing the DigiCert certificate, provided by your IT department.
The two certificates will be imported and listed in the Trust Store section of Data One.
