Modifying and Deleting a VFS
VFS listed in the Setup > Virtual File Systems page can be edited or deleted selecting the options of the icon on the right:
- EDIT the VFS
- DELETE the VFS
To remove the VFS in the details page, click the icon on the right of the bar.
Cases when the VFS and Virtual Paths cannot be deleted
- If you try to delete a VFS or a Virtual Path used in a VFS view, a message will appear warning you that it cannot be deleted because used and the name of the VFS view is given.
- A Virtual Path cannot be deleted from a VFS or a VFS View if the Virtual Path is used in a Connection Contract Clause. A warning message will appear listing the Connection Contract Clauses using the Virtual Path.
- A Virtual Path cannot be deleted from a View if it is linked to a Connection Contract built on the View.
- Virtual paths linked to Contracts cannot be deleted.
- Virtual Paths that are not empty cannot be deleted.
- A VFS that contains files in one or more of its Virtual Paths cannot be deleted.
- A VFS that has one or more of its Virtual Paths attached to a Contract Connection or to a Contract cannot be deleted.
