Workflow templates

There are 3 types of workflow templates in Data Mover:

There is one onDemand system workflow template for mediation contracts.

To see workflow templates, go to Design Workflows.

The number of workflows is displayed at the top of the screen, divided by status: All, Ready to use, In progress. Clicking on a card, the flows in the selected status will be displayed in the result list.

In the Filters panel on the right, you can filter results by:

  • Workflow template name, entering the name manually. Note that this field is case sensitive!

  • Workflow template type, choosing between System and Error

  • Trigger type, choosing among the listed triggers

To sort workflow templates, click the icon next to the Workflow, Revision, Trigger event or Created wording at the top of the result list.

Clicking the 3 dots icon on each workflow template, the following entries will appear:

  • View Workflow: the selected workflow template will be open in preview mode.

  • Edit: this entry is available only for custom workflow templates since system and error workflow templates cannot be edited or deleted.

  • Export: this entry will download the selected workflow template on your local drive.

  • Delete: this entry is available only for custom workflow templates since system and error workflow templates cannot be edited or deleted.

Clicking on one of the entries in the result list, the Workflow info panel will appear under the Filters panel and will display the template name, a description, the revision number and a visual representation.

When a workflow template is associated with one or more contracts and/or workflow instances, the number of contracts and workflow instances associated with it will be displayed at the bottom of the panel. Clicking on Referencing contracts, the Contracts page will be opened listing the contract or contracts referenced.

Clicking on Go to workflow instances, the Jobs page will be opened listing the instance or instances referenced.
