Client connections are used to configure the actors Data Mover interacts with when acting as a client, allowing it to connect to the actor to retrieve or deliver files. This client role involves initiating requests and managing the conditions needed to collect and deliver files, ensuring that the necessary data is available when needed.
To configure a Client Connection, follow these steps:
Go to Actors → Edit Actor → Client Connection tab.
Click the New Client Connection button.
In the dialog window, select the protocol type.
The dialog window will load several new fields – refer to the following sections for a detailed explanation.
