Import settings from another installation of Panorama

To get up and running in the new Panorama environment much faster than configuring Panorama from scratch, as an Administrator you can export Panorama settings from one installation and import them into another.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Setup > System tab and click on the icon with the up and down arrows to the right.
    The Import/Export Configuration window will open.
  2. In the Export chip, export the plugin configurations, credentials, roles, users and/or dashboards you wish to import to the other Panorama installation.
  3. A .zip file containing the selected items will be created.
  4. Click the Exports chip in the upper right corner and locate the .zip file among the Ready to download files.
  5. Save the .zip file to your local folder.

Now, you are ready to go to the second installation. Enter Panorama with your Administrator's credentials and:

  1. Go to Setup > System tab.
  2. Click on the icon with the up and down arrows to the right.
  3. In the Import/Export Configuration window, click on the Import chip and import the .zip file.
