Server
Clicking on a server in the Data One plugin page will bring up a panel on the right. The panel provides a real-time view of server performance and file transfer status.
The panel can be expanded to full screen by clicking on the icon. When shown full screen, the panel has 2 separate tabs: Detail and Analysis.
Detail tab
These are the main areas of the panel when the Detail default tab is displayed:
- Server Name address and port: This section displays the steng, from which different protocols are exposed, on different ports. The number of the port is shown next to the address.
- Overall System Status: This metric provides an overall health score for the server, reflecting its operational status and efficiency.
- Total transfers: This section displays the number of successful, failed, and total transfers monitored.
The toggle button in the top right corner allows you to toggle between a numeric view and a chart view. Click the bar chart icon to represent data with a bar chart and the line chart icon to represent data with a line chart. Charts help identify trends over time by connecting data points across months. - Total transferred Bytes: This section provides a visual and numerical summary of the total data transferred by the server. As the toggle in the Total transfers section, you can switch between a pie chart and a bar or line chart.
- Transfers: By clicking the lens icon, you can filter the list by filename and only transfers related to the specified filename will be listed. To export this list, click on the icon and a window similar to the one in the Dashboard will appear. See Export Flows for details.
This is the information available in the Transfers table:- Filename: Name of the files involved in the transfer.
- Source and Dest: Source and destination servers of the transfer.
- Direction: IN for files entering Data One and OUT for files sent from Data One to an Actor.
- Date and Size: The time the transfer started and the size of the transferred file.
- Dest. file: The path and name of the destination file.
- Virtual path: Virtual path where the destination file will be sent.
- Result: Visual indicator of the transfer result. A green checkmark indicates a successful transfer, a red cross indicates a failed transfer.
- Flow: The eye icon displays more detailed information about the flow, in a separate window. This is particularly useful in the case of flows in error, as it provides a complete view of the flow and allows you to identify the point at which the error occurred. Clicking on the flow will display the contracts involved in the right-hand pane.
Analysis tab
With the Analysis window you can get a detailed view of the transfers for a specific server. In this window, you can monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot transfers on a specific protocol, with a focus on the success or failure of these transfers.
- Filter by panel: Pre-configured filters are applied to show specific results. In this panel, they cannot be removed.
- Transfers panel: Click the lens icon to filter the list by filename. If you need to analyze the data in more detail or share it, you can use the icon to export the data. The same window as the window in the Dashboard will appear. See Export Flows for details.
