Client Connection tab

The Client Connection tab is used to configure the Actors that Data Mover interacts with when operating as a client, i.e. when it connects to actors to either retrieve or send files.

As a client, Data Mover is responsible for initiating requests to retrieve or send data, managing all aspects of file transfers to ensure they happen smoothly, and ensuring data accessibility when required.

Different protocol types are supported.

• Open protocols: FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, PeSIT, SMB v3, POP3 / IMAP, SMTP and JMS.

• Primeur native protocols: PR4/PR4S, PR5 and PR5S.

• Cloud connectors: HDFS, HDFSS, Amazon S3, Google Storage, Azure Blob Storage and Microsoft SharePoint.

• Third-party connectors: IBM Sterling Connect:Direct.
