# Log into File Manager

After configuring the user and the VFS, and creating a Connection Contract that authorizes the user to access the VFS, you can log into the File Manager with the assigned username and password.

Once authenticated with valid credentials, you will be redirected to the **main page**, which displays the files and folders located in the root directory of the assigned VFS (if any exist).

These files and folders correspond to the **Virtual Paths** defined within the VFS associated with the selected **Connection Contract** in Data Mover.&#x20;

An example is shown in the figures below.
