New features and enhancements

The following sections outline the main features and functionality that have been introduced:

New Storage Classes

Four new Storage Classes have been introduced to the platform: Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, and SMB.

These new storage classes provide users with a range of options to suit their data integration needs, offering flexibility and scalability from leading cloud providers and SMB connectivity.

Enhanced Dataflow Modeling and Cut-off Definition in Data Watcher

Improved Dataflow modeling capabilities in Data Watcher: users now have a more intuitive and efficient way to model their Dataflows. Additionally, the release adds the ability to define Cut-offs at the Dataflow level, including multiple and recurring Cut-off definitions.

Optimized Connection Pooling for FTP, FTPS, and SFTP

Optimization in connection pooling for FTP, FTPS, and SFTP protocols. Users can expect a significant 25% performance improvement in specific scenarios, resulting in faster data transfers. This enhancement also improves scalability, resource efficiency, and reliability for data integration with these protocols.

Database connector for Input and Output Contracts

Four new System Workflow Templates leverage the Data Shaper’s Database component to enable seamless integration with databases, allowing users to read and write data and implement a new set of Data Integration use cases.
