Tags

Tags are user-created labels that can be added to entities to simplify their classification and identification.

Using tags, specific context or meaning can be added, improving clarity and efficiency. For example, tagging by data type or partner application provides greater visibility of data exchange patterns.

To create a tag, go to Settings → Tags and click the New button.

In the New Tag window, enter the tag's name, which will then appear in the list of results.

The tags configured can be assigned to Folders and Rules as user labels helping their identification and classification. They help describe items and allow them to be found easily by browsing or searching.

To give some examples, a tag with the name of the local server can be created and assigned to all folders belonging to that server. Or a tag for each partner sending files can be assigned to rules so that they can be more easily identified.
