Links
The Links section is the basic interface for sending and receiving files from designated partners. These partners may be another Primeur Data Mover Smart, a Primeur Data Mover, or a custom or user endpoint accessed via a specific communication protocol.
Once connected, the link remains a valuable resource that can be used at any time to ensure the efficient exchange of essential information.
This page lists configured links, which can be shown in grid or table format by selecting the icons next to the Links name at the top of the page.
When setting up a new link, you must choose the type of link among Mover Smart, Mover, Custom connection and User connection.
The toolbar at the top of the page allows you to configure a new link, refresh the list, and browse all listed links by type, protocol, enable condition (enabled, disabled, or both) and tag.
To configure a new link, click the New button and in the New link panel select the type of link:
Mover Smart: use this option to connect to the remote servers of another Data Mover Smart by entering the address and port. All servers will be listed.
Mover: use this option to connect to Data Mover by entering the address, port, username, and password of the Data Mover remote server for authentication. All servers configured in Data Mover will be listed. Select the server, and its details will be loaded automatically. You can also test the connection to the server.
When configured, a new card will appear. Clicking the 3 dots icon on the top-right corner of the card, these options will appear: Clone, Navigate (after selecting a credential, you can remotely navigate the server and see its folders and file), Enable/Disable, and Delete.
Custom Connection: select the protocol to be used for the custom connection choosing among those listed. Depending on the protocol selected, different fields will appear:
FTP: Name, Description, Host, Port, Operation mode.
FTPS:
HTTP: Name, Port, Host, Description, Timeout (seconds without network activity to wait before closing a session due to inactivity), Max retry (if this field is empty or set to 0, no retries will be executed and the job will be set to Failed if the first attempt is not successful. The higher the value, the higher the number of retrying attempts.).
HTTPS: same as HTTP with an additional Client key field to set the Key identifier to create the SSL connection.
PR5:
SFTP: same as HTTP with additional Session Timeout (seconds without network activity to wait before closing a session due to inactivity), Allowed client authentication modes (PUBLICKEY, PASSWORD, PASSWORD_AND_PUBLICKEY, PUBLICKEY_AND_PASSWORD), Accepted cipher suites, Key Exchange Algorithms, Mac Algorithm, Read buffer size (dimension of the buffer when reading a file on the SSH Channel. Default: 65536 bytes. The values accepted are 32, 64 and 128 kb.), Write buffer size (Dimension of the buffer when writing a file on the SSH Channel. Default: 32768 bytes. The values accepted are 32, 64 and 128 kb.), Auxiliary buffer size (Dimension of the auxiliary buffer when reading or writing a file in the VFS. Default: 8192 bytes).
User Connection: select the protocol to be used for the connection choosing among FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, PR5 and SFTP. The same fields as the Custom connection options appear, with these additional fields for all protocols: Credential, Remote path, Local destination path (optional).
All connections configured in this section will be listed both in the Rules → Action (for example in the Remote Push action) and in the File Event Listener → Listening folder (remote). See an example for the Remote Push action in the following figure:

The Test and Create buttons are available in the New link panel to test if the connection you have configured is working correctly and to confirm the creation of the connection.
When you start configuring a link, the fields you fill in are saved. In case you do not complete the configuration, a draft version is kept and proposed again when you click the New button. The fields in the draft version will be automatically loaded when accessing the page. If a draft version exists, the New button will contain a * Draft chip.

To remove the draft, click the New button and then the icon on the top right corner of the New link panel.
