Centralized deployment (hub-and-spoke architecture)
In the hub-and-spoke architecture, all data transfers are routed through a central Hub or Gateway (GW). The central hub acts as a mediator that manages, controls, and audits the flows among multiple endpoints. This architecture is suitable for environments that need full visibility over data transfers, centralized security enforcement, and workflow control.
Hub/GW as Central Controller: the Hub/GW is responsible for routing all dataflows between different agents. It can apply data transformation, security checks, and policy-based workflows before delivering the data to the destination. This centralization helps ensure that transfers are compliant with security policies, with detailed monitoring and reporting.
Advanced Workflow Management: with a centralized approach, organizations have greater control over complex workflows, including conditional routing, multi-step file processing, and secure auditing. All transactions are visible from the central Hub, providing a consolidated view of enterprise-wide data movement.
