The configuration of Primeur Panorama is critical to the proper functioning of the platform, as it depends on the efficient operation of its main components, in particular the Primeur Data Watcher, which monitors, manages, and triggers actions in response to events on the data.

To set up and configure Primeur Panorama effectively, you must have administrative privileges.

Go to Setup → System tab. The higher part of this tab shows the details about the configured Data Watcher.

Setting parameters

Clicking the pencil icon on the right opens the System window, where you can configure system parameters, such as URLs, authentication methods, polling intervals, resource limits, and export settings.

Remember that you need administrative privileges to set up and configure Primeur Panorama.

Below is a detailed description of each field:

  • Base URL (*): Enter the physical address of the Data Watcher.

  • Health URL: Optional input field used to specify the health check URL.

  • Auth type (*): Select Credential, which uses predefined credentials for authentication.

  • Dashboard limit: Set the maximum number of dashboards that can be created. You can use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to increment or decrement the value.

  • Cards limit: Set the maximum number of cards that can be created. You can use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to increment or decrement the value.

  • Ping timeout: Specify the timeout duration (in milliseconds) for ping requests to plugins. You can use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to increment or decrement the value.

  • Sync status polling (*): Set the polling interval (in minutes) for synchronization status. Select the value indicating the interval, e.g., 1 for 1-minute intervals.

  • CSV Export separator: Enter the separator character you want to be used in CSV exports.

  • Export folder: Enter the path where exports will be saved.

  • Parallel exports maximum: Set the maximum number of parallel exports that can be executed simultaneously. You can use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to increment or decrement the value.

After properly setting up the plugin that connects to Data Watcher, a chip ! To init indicating the need to synchronize the environment appears. Click on the chip and select in the calendar the period you want to synchronize with Data Watcher, e.g. the last two months. Now click on SYNCH NOW. The synchronization progress and the number of items downloaded for each day will appear at the top.

Setting Import/Export parameters

Clicking the up and down arrows icon on the right opens the Import/Export configuration window allowing administrators to:

  • Export configurations of plugins, credentials, roles, users and dashboards, which can be imported in a different Panorama installation.

  • Import a .zip file of plugins, credentials, roles, users and dashboards from a different Panorama installation.

Credential (*): Lists available credentials, configured in the tab. Select DataWatcher.

To synchronize an additional period - for example, earlier than the last two months - refer to the page.
