History

The History section provides a comprehensive log of all import and export operations involving Spazio and Data Mover Smart packages. It enables you to track the flow of data packages and manage them, including the option to delete imported configurations when necessary.

The table displays detailed information for each imported or exported package. The following columns are available:

  • File: name of the imported or exported package.

  • Type: identifies whether the package is related to Data Mover Smart (Dms) or Spazio.

  • Direction: specifies whether the action was an import or an export.

  • Status: reflects the outcome of the operation (e.g., successful, reverted, failed).

  • User: this column identifies the user who performed the action.

  • Created: timestamp of when the operation was initiated.

  • Last updated: timestamp of the most recent modification.

  • Ended: timestamp marking the completion of the operation.

Click the three-dot icon next to the respective entry for additional insights into a specific import or export action:

  • For Import operations, you can choose Summary or Revert.

  • For Export operations, only the Summary option is available.

This will open the Summary window, providing more detailed information about the selected action.

Summary window for Data Mover Smart

For Data Mover Smart exported configurations, the Summary window includes:

  • Status: current status of the operation (e.g., Completed in green, Failed in red).

  • Type: product package involved (Dms).

  • Direction: action direction (Import or Export).

  • Started / Ended: timestamps for the operation.

  • Copy: copy operation details to the clipboard.

  • Download: download the package.

The Imported entities section lists all entities present in the system at the time of the import. Each entity can be expanded using the arrow icon, revealing the associated entries. For example, expanding the Users entity will display a list of all users included in the imported Data Mover Smart configuration (e.g., 4 users).

Summary window for Spazio

For Spazio imported configurations, the Summary window includes

  • Status: current status of the operation (e.g., Completed in green, Reverted in red).

  • Type: product package involved (Spazio).

  • Direction: action direction (Import).

  • Started / Ended: timestamps for the operation.

  • Copy: copy operation details to the clipboard.

  • Revert: revert the import operation.

The Entities in error section lists entities that failed during the process. Clicking the dropdown arrow, detailed error information is shown.

The Imported Entities section lists all items successfully imported into Data Mover Smart, along with their count.

For details on how Spazio entities are mapped in Data Mover Smart, read the Spazio entities in Data Mover Smart section.

Revert

The Revert option allows you to undo a previously imported configuration and restore the system to its state prior to the import.

This action permanently deletes the imported configuration and reverts all related settings to their initial values.

You can use this option to roll back unintended or incorrect configuration changes or simplify troubleshooting by eliminating recent imports that may have introduced issues.
