# Navigation tips

To seamlessly navigate through Data Mover Smart, you should keep in mind a few practical concepts.

## The main menu

The main sections of the solution are displayed on the toolbar on the left side of the screen. The icons on the toolbar represent the menus for the **Dashboard**, **Folders**, **File Event Listener**, **Rules**, **Flows**, **Servers**, **Links**, and **Users and Groups**.

Click the icons to open panels featuring the different sections of Data Mover Smart.

## Header options

The <img src="/files/neH117P91ac1URu2AkbI" alt="" data-size="line"> logo on the left gives you access to a stand-alone window, which provides useful information for our tech-savvy friends. In this window, the license can be uploaded or updated.&#x20;

## The toolbar&#x20;

The **Dashboard** **toolbar** is located at the top left of the screen.

Use the <img src="/files/2uM01FD7HCKjn77TOtkl" alt="" data-size="line"> icon to refresh the **Dashboard** page.&#x20;

Use the <img src="/files/rf6XydprUeJbg46FoDi5" alt="" data-size="line"> **Period** drop-down menu to select the period for which you want to view transfers and details about the system. Options are:&#x20;

* last 24 hours
* today
* this week
* this month
* custom: when selecting **Custom**, the current date will be proposed. Just click the starting or ending date to open the calendar and select a different period. Remember to click the **Apply** button to set the date.&#x20;

Use the options at the top right of the screen to view recent transfers, to access logs, to view user actions, and to change language and screen theme preferences.

## The main screen

At the center of the screen, a graph provides a summary of the current configurations and gives quick access to the Data Mover Smart entities. See the [Graph details](/data-mover-smart/navigate/graph-details.md) page for more information.&#x20;

On the right, transfers occurred in the configured period are shown in the **Transfers panel**. Refer to the [Transfers](/data-mover-smart/monitoring/transfers.md) page for details.&#x20;
