Install and upgrade Data Mover Smart

Prerequisites

Before installing or upgrading Data Mover Smart, read carefully these prerequisites:

Linux

• The user performing the installation must have write access to the chosen installation folder.

• dms-installer-linux-<version>.tar.gz package. It contains all the necessary scripts, configuration files, and dependencies for setting up Data Mover Smart. See the Data Mover Smart Installer page for details.

• dms-linux-<version>.tar.gz package. It contains the Data Mover Smart application to be installed.

Windows

• The user performing the installation must have administrative privileges.

• dms-installer-win-<version>.zip package. It contains all the necessary scripts, configuration files, and dependencies for setting up Data Mover Smart. See the Data Mover Smart Installer page for details.

• dms-win-<version>.zip. It contains the Data Mover Smart application to be installed.
