Data Watcher system requirements

This section outlines the Data Watcher system requirements in terms of supported operating systems, minimum browser versions, clock synchronization guidelines, and optional components.

• Operating Systems

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6 and 🚀 9.4 with unzip, tar, fontconfig, glibc-langpack-en packages installed.

  • 🚀 Amazon Linux 2023 with unzip, tar, fontconfig, glibc-langpack-en packages installed.

• Data One Installation Manager - DOIM. Refer to the DOIM page.

• Python 3

• Browsers (minimum versions)

  • 🚀 Google Chrome (Jan. 2024) 122.0.6261.15

  • 🚀 Mozilla Firefox (Jan. 2024 ) 122.0

  • 🚀 Microsoft Edge (Feb. 2024) 122.0.2365.8

• Clocks synchronization

  • All managed nodes in a Data One Domain must have their clocks synchronized via NTP (Network Time Protocol)

• Linux sysstat package (optional)

  • This is an optional, but recommended, package that can be useful to Primeur Helpdesk to speed up troubleshooting of non-functional issues at runtime.

• CPU requirement

  • The system must support AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions) instructions.

• MongoDB supported versions if Data Watcher is installed with an external database:

  • MongoDB 4.4, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x
