Running the system for the first time

Congratulations! You have just completed the initial system installation, now you can proceed to the next step: running the system for the first time.

Before doing so, just become a bit acquainted with Basic system control: starting, stopping and checking status so that you have the capability to bring Data Mover up.

Also, you can optionally decide to replace the self-signed certificates provided out-of-the-box now or do it at a later stage.

Finally... it's time for you to start Data Mover up on each node (via dataone.sh -start command) and connect to the Data Mover WUI, as explained here Launching Data Mover WUI.

Once logged in, the very first task you will perform will typically be Wiring your STENG cluster together.
