Running the system for the first time

You have successfully completed the initial system installation. Now, you can move on to running the system for the first time.

Before doing so, just become a bit acquainted with Basic system control: starting, stopping and checking status so that you have the capability to bring Data Watcher up.

You are now ready to start Data Watcher on each node using the following command:

dataone.sh -start

Then, connect to the Data Watcher interface, as explained on the Launching the Data Watcher WUI page.
