What is Primeur Data Shaper

Primeur Data Shaper® is our Data Transformation solution providing quick and flexible any-to-any data transformations. It is designed to work perfectly with Primeur Data Mover® complementing and boosting its capabilities.

Primeur Data Shaper is a graphical, wizard-driven, and easy-to-use software that supports any-to-any transformation for all data formats – flat files, CSV, XML, Excel, Database, EDI, industry formats (HIPAA), etc. It also supports file splitting, transformation, routing, aggregation, and enrichment to support varying business needs.

Primeur Data Shaper deployment model

Primeur Data Shaper is a module of the Data One suite and it is installed on top of Data One. More specifically, Primeur Data Shaper must be installed on top of a selected subset of existing Peers (but possibly all of them) of an existing STENG cluster.

Focusing on Primeur Data Shaper, these are the combinations supported:

• Primeur Data Shaper Standalone: only Primeur Data Shaper is enabled as a bundle in Data One. In this scenario Primeur Data Shaper can process only files, always through Primeur Data One Virtual File System (VFS); Folder Monitor and Input Contract OnDemand API are the two features used to ingest files in Primeur Data One VFS.

• Primeur Data Shaper + Primeur Data Mover: in this scenario, Primeur Data Shaper can inherit all the features and services provided by Primeur Data Mover.

Primeur Data Shaper platform

The Primeur Data Shaper Platform consists of:

• Data Shaper Designer: transformation development and ad-hoc execution

• Data Shaper Server: enterprise-level automation

• Data Shaper Cluster: high-availability and parallelization

  • Multiple Servers working together

Everything is built in Java and runs on many configurations:

• Server on Linux

• Designer on Windows and Linux
