# Manage Primeur users

Users appear in Panorama **only after their first successful login** using Data Watcher or Data One credentials.

These users are assigned the **Guest** default role upon entry and only the administrator can change this role by following these steps:

1. Go to **Setup** → **Users** tab and open the user’s profile card.&#x20;
2. In the **Edit \<username>** window, the username and password fields are already filled in.&#x20;
3. Assign at least one role to the user by clicking the + icon next to **Roles** at the bottom of the window and select the role for the user.\
   Roles must already exist. See the [Set roles](/panorama-2.0.1/setup-and-configuration/users-and-roles-setup/set-roles.md) page for details.
4. Optionally enter the user's email address. \
   If you want to use the option **“Notify me by email when the export is ready”** in **Export CSV**, this field must contain a valid email address. 5. Click **Save** to confirm.

You cannot create, delete, or change user credentials in Panorama. These operations must be performed in Data Watcher or Data One.
