# Unused Endpoints

The **Unused Endpoints** card displays the number of endpoints that have not been involved in any data transfer activity within the selected time window, compared to the total number of configured endpoints.

For detailed instructions on how to create this card, refer to [Create an ICT Card](/panorama-2.0.1/operational-resilience/ict-risk-monitoring/create-an-ict-card.md).

### Card menu options <a href="#card-menu-options" id="card-menu-options"></a>

Click the **three-dot button** in the upper-right corner of the card to access the available options.

#### Settings <a href="#settings" id="settings"></a>

* **Inactive since (days)**: specifies the number of days of inactivity after which an endpoint is considered unused. By default, **180 days** are set, but other predefined values can be selected from the dropdown list. Adjusting this value changes the time window used by Panorama to calculate and display the metrics in the card.

#### Export CSV <a href="#filter" id="filter"></a>

This option allows you to export the list of results as a **.csv file**.

<figure><img src="/files/ZgRB9k8BjHkqDtXxbjZg" alt="" width="390"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The **Attributes** section shows the configuration used for the export.

* **LASTDAYS:** indicates the time window applied to the dataset. This value reflects the **Inactive since (days)** setting defined in the card.

The **Filters** section displays any additional filtering criteria applied before exporting.

* If no filters are configured, the message **“No filters”** is shown
* If filters are applied, they will be listed in this section

The exported file is generated in **CSV format** and contains one row per element, reflecting the dataset shown in the card. The file includes the following columns:

* **lookbackDays:** time window (in days) applied to detect inactivity
* **unusedDistinctCount:** number of unused client connections identified within the selected time frame
* **totalDistinctClientConnections:** total number of configured client connections
* **clientConnection:** name of the client connection
* **partner:** associated partner
* **idProfile:** identifier of the connection profile
* **enabled:** indicates whether the connection is enabled (`true` / `false`)
* **lastUpdateTs:** timestamp of the last configuration update
* **description:** description of the client connection
* **authorityHost:** host used for the connection
* **authorityPort:** port used for the connection
* **cluster:** cluster to which the connection belongs
* **peer:** peer system involved
* **protocol:** protocol used (e.g., FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP, SMB3)
* **contract:** associated contract identifier
* **lastTransferInWindow:** date and time of the last transfer detected within the selected time window

Each row provides a detailed view of client connection usage, enabling analysis of inactive connections and supporting cleanup and optimization activities.

This structure reflects the data currently displayed in the card and ensures consistency between the dashboard view and the exported dataset.

Optionally, enable **email notification** to be informed when the export is completed. To receive email notifications, the following conditions must be met:

* The [Mail Sender](/panorama-2.0.1/setup-and-configuration/plugins-configuration/mail-sender.md) plugin is configured.
* The [user's email address](/panorama-2.0.1/setup-and-configuration/users-and-roles-setup/manage-users.md) is specified in the **Email** field.

#### Table view <a href="#filter" id="filter"></a>

This option opens the **Unused Endpoints** window, providing a detailed view of the data behind the card.

When you open the window it displays **exactly the same dataset used to generate the card**. Any filters applied to the card are automatically carried over, ensuring data consistency between the card and the detailed view.

In the **Unused Endpoints** window:

* The **Export CSV** button at the top-left allows you to export **only the list currently displayed**, based on the applied filter - if any.
* **Columns** can be configured by clicking the <img src="/files/noDD1PrWwrtAXuUdkxjU" alt="" data-size="line"> icon on the top-right corner. Columns cannot be sorted but the list can be exported in CSV format. Removing columns will not remove them from the exported file.
* A **toolbar** allows you to easily navigate through results.

#### Color <a href="#color" id="color"></a>

This option allows you to select a different color for the external border of the card.

Click the **Reset** button to restore default settings.

#### Remove <a href="#remove" id="remove"></a>

This option allows you to remove the card. Note that the card will be removed without any further prompting.
