# Expiring Trusted Certificates

The **Expiring Trusted Certificates** card displays the number of trusted certificates that are approaching their expiration date, distributed over time (for example, by month within a selected year).

This visualization helps you identify upcoming certificate expirations and plan renewals in advance, reducing the risk of service disruptions due to expired credentials.

For detailed instructions on how to create this card, refer to [Create an ICT Card](/panorama-2.0.1/operational-resilience/ict-risk-monitoring/create-an-ict-card.md).

#### Drill-down by month

Each bar in the chart represents a specific month.

When you click on a month, a **detail window** opens showing the list of certificates expiring in that selected period.

The drill-down window provides a **table view** of expiring certificates for the selected month (e.g., *August 2026*) and detailed columns including expiration date and time, certificate name, validity start date, unique certificate identifier, certificate issuer, certificate subject, and certificate revocation status.

### Card menu options

Click the **three-dot button** in the upper-right corner of the card to access the available options.

#### Export CSV

This option allows you to export the list of results as a **.csv file**.

The **Attributes** section shows the configuration used for the export.

* **YEAR:** Indicates the time range applied to the dataset (for example, `YEAR: 2026`). This value reflects the period currently selected in the card (such as the year shown in the timeline) and determines which data is included in the export.

The **Filters** section displays any additional filtering criteria applied before exporting.

* If no filters are configured, the message **“No filters”** is shown
* If filters are applied, they will be listed in this section

The exported file is generated in **CSV format** and contains one row per element, with the following columns:

* **expiration:** date and time when the certificate will expire
* **trustedCertificate:** name of the certificate file
* **validFrom:** date and time from which the certificate is valid
* **serialNumber:** unique identifier of the certificate
* **issuerDn:** distinguished name (DN) of the certificate issuer
* **subjectDn:** distinguished name (DN) of the certificate subject
* **revoked:** indicates whether the certificate has been revoked (`YES` / `NO`)
* **clusterName:** name of the cluster where the certificate is used

Each row provides detailed information about certificate lifecycle and validity, enabling you to monitor upcoming expirations, verify certificate status, and plan renewal activities in advance.

Optionally, enable **email notification** to be informed when the export is completed. To receive email notifications, the following conditions must be met:

* The [Mail Sender](/panorama-2.0.1/setup-and-configuration/plugins-configuration/mail-sender.md) plugin is configured.
* The [user's email address](/panorama-2.0.1/setup-and-configuration/users-and-roles-setup/manage-users.md) is specified in the **Email** field.

#### Table view

This option opens the **Expiring Trusted Certificates** window, providing a detailed view of the data behind the card.

When you open the window it displays **exactly the same dataset used to generate the card**. Any filters applied to the card are automatically carried over, ensuring data consistency between the card and the detailed view.

In the **Expiring Trusted Certificates** window:

* The **Export CSV** button at the top-left allows you to export **only the list currently displayed**, based on the applied
* **Columns** can be configured by clicking the icon on the top-right corner. Columns cannot be sorted but the list can be exported in CSV format. Removing columns will not remove them from the exported file.
* A **toolbar** allows you to easily navigate through results.

#### Color

This option allows you to select a different color for the external border of the card.

Click the **Reset** button to restore default settings.

#### Remove

This option allows you to remove the card. Note that the card will be removed without any further prompting.
