# Share Dashboards

Dashboards can be shared with other users, allowing them to access the same cards, filters, and visualizations without recreating them. This helps save time and ensures consistent data views across users.

## How to share a Dashboard

To share a dashboard and all its cards follow these steps:

1. **Navigate to the dashboard** you want to share.
2. Click the Settings icon <img src="/files/g6S5RhkdJEZcJCSrZikj" alt="" data-size="line"> located at the top-right of your dashboard. This screen will appear:

3. Click the **SHARING** button and select the user or users with whom you want to share your dashboard and click the **Done** button to confirm your selection.\
   The names of the user or users will appear in the **Share Dashboard** window. If needed, you can remove unnecessary user names.
4. Click the **SAVE** button to confirm and share the dashboard.

The user or users will receive a notification in a popup (if the user is online) and in the list appearing clicking the bell icon  <img src="/files/xymymwS8y30NbF8bNAEh" alt="" data-size="line"> at the top-right of the screen.&#x20;

## How to accept a shared Dashboard

After a dashboard has been shared, the receiving user must accept it:

1. Go to **Dashboard** at the top of the screen.
2. Switch to the **Shared with me** tab.

3. Click the + button to display all dashboards shared with you. Then click the green checkmark ![](/files/gQ1f1Pr85jeOGNGXgV9a) to accept the dashboard.   &#x20;The accepted dashboard will appear in your dashboard list. The user who shared the dashboard with you receives a notification of your approval.&#x20;

### Managing personal and shared Dashboards

Dashboard lists are separated into two categories:

* **My dashboards** contains dashboards you created.
* **Shared with me** contains dashboards shared with you by other users.

The sharer’s username appears in the top‑left corner of the dashboard card.

Each list is independent, and switching tabs is required to view the items in the other list.

## Removing a shared Dashboard

There are two possible scenarios in which a shared dashboard can be removed:

1. **The user who shared the dashboard** can revoke access from one or more recipients:

   1. Open **Settings** <img src="/files/g6S5RhkdJEZcJCSrZikj" alt="" data-size="line"> at the top-right of the dashboard.&#x20;
   2. Click **SHARING**.
   3. In the **Share Dashboard** window, remove the user(s) by clicking the X next to their name.
   4. Click **SAVE**.

   The removed user will receive a notification with details about the user who performed the action and the name of the Dashboard removed. They will lose access to the dashboard and no longer see it in their **Shared with me** list.&#x20;
2. **A receiving user** can remove themselves from a dashboard that was shared with them:

   1. Go to the **Shared with me** tab.
   2. Click the red X on the dashboard card.
   3. A confirmation message appears.
   4. Click **Confirm**.

   The original owner will receive a notification that the receiving user has removed themselves from the shared dashboard.
