# Flows Duration Analysis

The **Flows Duration Analysis** card groups flows according to their duration, i.e. less than 1 minute, more than 1 minute, etc. The unit of measure - seconds, minutes, or hours - and the intervals are configured in the [Settings](#settings) window.

For detailed instructions on how to create this card, refer to [Create a Card](/panorama-2.0.1/cards/create-a-card.md).

If you move the mouse over the bar, the **duration and number of flows that lasted the indicated time** will be displayed.

#### **🚀** Flows window&#x20;

Clicking on the highlighted graph column opens the **Flows** window, which is a drill‑down view that allows you to explore the data behind a card in detail.

When you open the **Flows** window - by clicking a bar of the graph - it displays **exactly the same dataset used to generate the card**. Any filters applied to the card (such as time range, outcome, filename, source, or destination) are automatically carried over, ensuring data consistency between the card and the detailed view.

In the **Flows** window:

* The **Export** button at the top-left allows you to export **only the list currently displayed**, based on the applied filter (Success / Error / All / filename).
* Each view displays flow **details** such as Name, Sources, Destinations, Partners, Protocols, Start/End time, File information, Size, and Result.
* **Columns** can be configured by clicking the <img src="/files/UoZ0CF3MHuG4ahDCDGGd" alt="" data-size="line"> icon on the top-right corner. Columns cannot be sorted but the list can be exported in CSV format. Removing columns will not remove them from the exported file.&#x20;
* A **search edit box** can be used to filter results by filename. The edit box is **case‑insensitive** and wildcard characters are **not supported**. The entire filename must be entered.&#x20;
* A **toolbar** allows you to easily navigate through results.

## Card menu options

Clicking the 3 dots button in the upper right corner of the card, the following options will appear.

### Settings

* **Show incomplete flows**: When enabled (default), incomplete flows are included in the metrics. A flow is considered incomplete when it has pending activities and has not reached a final execution state. To show only completed flows, disable the toggle and click **Apply**.
* **Mode**: Define if the unit of measure must be Seconds, Minutes, or Hours.
* **Intervals**: Set the starting unit of measure and the interval applied to the columns of the graph.

### Filter

This option allows you to use filters to refine the data displayed on the card:

* **From - To**: Select the time range in which to collect data. Click the APPLY button to confirm each date selected.
* **Filename**: Enter the name of the file whose transferred flows you want to analyze.
* **Outcome**: Select **SUCCESS**, **FAILURE**, or **ERROR**. To remove an outcome filter, click the red **X**. You can create multiple cards to compare different outcomes.
* **Source**: Filter flows originating from a specific source.
* **Destination**: Filter flows delivered to a specific destination.

Click **Reset** to restore the default settings.

If one or more filters are applied, a **funnel icon** appears in the upper‑right corner of the card. Clicking the funnel displays all active filters. Click the **pencil icon** to open the Filters window and edit filters directly.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Notes:**

* Editable filter fields (for example, Filename, Source, and Destination) are **case‑insensitive**.
* Wildcard characters are **not supported**.
  {% endhint %}

You can create as many cards as you need to meet the number of criteria you require. For example, you can create a card with the duration of all flows transferred and another only for flows in ERROR; or a card with the duration of flows transferred to all destinations and another with the duration of flows transferred to a specific destination. And so on.

### Color

This option allows you to select a different color for the external border of the card.&#x20;

Click the **Reset** button to restore default settings.

### Remove

This option allows you to remove the card. Note that the card will be removed without any further prompting.
