# Create a Card

Follow these steps to add a new Card to your dashboard:

1. Navigate to the specific dashboard where you want to insert a new card.
   * In the bottom‑right corner of the dashboard, click the “+” icon to start the card creation process.
2. In the **Add a Card** window, you will be prompted to choose a **card category**. Panorama always includes:

   * **Flow** – complete view of dataflows
   * **Transfer** – detailed insight into individual file transfers

Additional categories appear only if the related plugins are installed:

   * **Data One** – KPIs related to contracts and actors
   * **Spazio** – overview of transfers occurring in Spazio
3. After selecting the category, choose the specific KPI (Key Performance Indicator) you want the card to show.\
   Examples:
   * For Flows and Transfers: total files transferred, number of flows, transfer duration, success/failure ratios, trends over time, flows grouped by duration, etc.
   * For Data One: contract- or actor‑related metrics.
   * For Spazio: queue names, node types, queue status, and utilization percentage.

Once the KPI is selected, Panorama automatically adds the new card to the first available position on the dashboard, after the existing cards.

Find below an example of cards belonging to the **Flows** category:

For all cards, data can be filtered and extracted on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis.

A detailed description of all cards is available on the [Card types](/panorama-2.0.1/cards/card-types.md) page.

You can add as many cards of the same type as you need. They can be distinguished by the sequential number that appears at the end of the card name.

Details about editing cards are on the [Edit Cards](/panorama-2.0.1/cards/edit-cards.md) page.
