# Users and roles setup

Panorama uses user accounts from Data One and Data Watcher.

**User creation does not occur in Panorama directly**. 

Users log in Panorama with their Data Watcher or Data One user account. Once logged in, a new user will appear in the Panorama **Users tab** and the administrator can then assign the appropriate role to each user.

#### Administrator account
