# Telnet a host

### Description

The `Telnet a host` action tests a connection on a certain port over the [Telnet](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telnet) protocol.

### Options

| Option       | Description                                        |
| ------------ | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Action name  | The name of the workflow action.                   |
| Host name/IP | The host.                                          |
| Port         | The port (default: 23)                             |
| TimeOut (ms) | The timeout period in milliseconds (default 3000). |
