Monitoring and logging Data Shaper workflow templates

This section explains how to monitor and view logs of workflows triggered by mediation contracts that use the Data Shaper 2.0 Processor in Data Mover.

Job Manager

To monitor workflows triggered by contracts using the Data Shaper 2.0 Processor, go to Monitoring → Jobs and look for the job executed by your contract.

To inspect the details of the job, click the three-dot menu next to the job entry and select Workflow Instance. This opens a detailed view of the executed workflow where you can see the flow executed and all its variables.

Central Log

The Central Log in Data Mover provides detailed insights into the execution of Data Shaper jobs.

To access it:

1. Navigate to Monitoring → Logs.

2. Use the Module column to filter results specifically for Data Shaper entries.

This view allows you to track job execution events, including start and completion messages, processing steps, and any errors encountered.

Note: The Message log shown in Monitoring → Logs is the same as the Workflow log shown in Data Shaper Designer.
